How do I get to the hotel?

Driving directions from Reykjavík:
(about 1 hour 40 minutes drive)

Head northwest through Mosfellsbaer onto ROAD 1. After the Hvalfjordur tunnel, turn right towards Borgarnes on ROAD 1.
Before reaching the large bridge that leads to Borgarnes, turn right in the direction of Reykholt - Husafell ROAD 50. Follow ROAD 50 to Reykholt, then ROAD 518 to Husafell.
Total travelling distance is around 130 km.
 
 
Driving directions from Keflavík International Airport:
(about 2 hours 20 minutes drive)
 
Start by following directions to Reykjavik, ROAD 41, that road lies through Hafnarfjordur, Gardabaer and Kopavogur.
Take a right turn towards Mosfellsbaer, ROAD 1 at intersection Miklabraut and drive north.
Follow the instructions above towards to Husafell.

What are the opening hours of the restaurant/bar?

The restaurant is open from 12 pm to 2 pm and from 6 pm til 10 pm.
The bar downstairs is open Fridays and Saturdays in winter from 15:00 until midnight. In summer it is open every day same opening times.

Where is breakfast served and at what time?

Breakfast is served in the restaurant in winter (01.September - 31.May) from 08:00 - 10:00 and in summer (01.June - 31.August) from 07:00 - 10:00

Do you have a spa? What are the opening hours?

We have a geothermal bath and hot tubs on the premises, which are free of charge for hotel guests. It is open all day for guests as well as outside formal opening hours, upon request.

Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?

What is your cancellation/deposit policy?

In order to avoid a cancellation fee, reservation for individuals must be cancelled 48 hours before arrival. Cancellations received after that time and no-shows will be charged the value of one night on your credit card. For group reservations (5 rooms or more), other cancellation policies apply. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Accepted credit cards are American Express, Visa, Euro/Master card, Diners Club, and Maestro. A credit card number (with type and validity) is required to confirm the booking.
